… and What You Can Do About It!

Been online for a while? Still not cashing in? Feel like the internet train has left without you on it?

Take solace in known you are not alone. Millions of online marketers miss the internet gravy train daily, despite their best efforts. Although, that doesn’t help you with YOUR bottom line … .

Could it be that you’re not succeeding online because you’re making one or more of the next ten mistakes – maybe without realizing you’re actually doing this?

1. Not capturing subscribers:
List building must be your #1 concern and must be the area you focus most of your efforts on. No list – no money, simple as that!

2. Not cultivating relationships:
To continuously sell online, you must have a constant audience. Your audience is made up of relationships you create, one at a time. Relationships build trust, confidence, name recognition and so on. No one buys from someone they don’t know or trust.

3. Not staying in touch:
Don’t confuse this with relationship building (#2). They are quite different. Not staying in touch with your subscribers is almost the same as not having a list, only worst: you spent the time getting subscribers, only to throw your efforts (and with it your business) in the trash.

4. Pushing too hard:
You know what I do with emails that are only geared to wanting me to buy from them? I throw them in the trash bin, that’s what. Stop pushing so hard trying to get a sale. Instead, spend your time on giving free (yes free) advice, helpful tips, neat little tricks, etc. . Sales will follow!

5. Selling the wrong product:
Nothing kills a sale faster than selling something your subscribers don’t want or aren’t interested in. ASK your prospects what they want, then provide it.

6. Not following up:
Just because you made a sale doesn’t mean you’re done. The game is just beginning. Ask your customers what they think of the product they bought from you. Do they like it? Can you help them with it? Do they have any questions? Show that you actually care about your customers after a sale and … more sales will come.

8. Want riches now:
Hey; I too dream of being rich overnight. Will that ever happen? Most likely not. Yet time and again you buy into empty promises of “get rich quick” schemes. Haven’t you learned yet? These DON’T work!

9. Not putting in the work:
There are only two ways I know that will bring you money online in record time:

   9.1) You get a coach. An internet marketing mentor who’s done what you’re looking to accomplish. You will still have to do your part though.

   9.2) You are one of a handful pf online marketers who cracked the internet success code first time around. If that’s you, become a mentor right away. Your doorstep is paved with gold.

Other than that, you will have to work your business to make it grow and prosper. That takes time. Rome wasn’t build in ONE day (or two or three …)!

10. Not willing to improve:
The internet is constantly changing. If you’re not willing to keep up with those changes and figure out how you can benefit from them, the internet is not the place for you to be.

Growing your business means learning new things, applying new stuff. Testing and trying – constantly! What works, what doesn’t. It’s the only way you continue to increase and strengthen your business.

I’ve said it many times before but I’ll say it again:

“Don’t bother owning an online business (or any business for that matter) if you aren’t willing to put in the time, effort, energy, sweat, tears and financial resources required to succeed – you’re wasting your time!”

In other words: real and lasting success takes time! Now do the opposite of what I share with you in this post and online success, i.e. profit, will come to you in great abundance – guaranteed!
