Case Study: “How I Make A Full-Time Income Online, Hanging Out With Friends, Talking About Everything And Anything.”

Hello, my name is Kate. I am the proud mother of a rambunctious 6 year old. To say that I have time on my hands to sit in front of a computer and spend hours upon hours maintaining and modifying websites, responding to subscribers and so forth would be a gross overstatement. As is I have barely enough hours in a day to take care of myself.

Still, the internet was an easy and quick way for me to share my interests and family photos with my friends and family back home (that’s the Philippines).

So when Facebook came around, a friend of mine showed me how to open up an account and setup my personal profile and pages. I took an instant liking to it and mastered Facebook quickly and easily.

I use my Facebook page to talk and share just about everything I think of: my new haircut, pics of my son’s birthday party, an evening out around town, a cooking recipe that went horribly wrong, a miserable day at home with the flue; and anything else that comes to mind.

Before long I was getting requests from people to join my private pages. As time passed, my circle of friends grew to the point that now I have over 4000 Facebook friends. Most are from the Philippines, although I have a few friends from as far away as Tonga.

I learned from my friend how to monetize (make money) with my Facebook account by adding Google Adsense and by joining a few products as an affiliate and post those on my pages.

Although I have yet to put up an actual sales page or even ask anyone to buy whatever I offer on my pages, somehow, people just started clicking on the Adsense links and my affiliate images.

I was delighted when one day I got a check from Google for $100. I didn’t even know until then, that I was making money from my Facebook pages.

Since then, my income has steadily grown to the point that I make more online in one month, doing this part-time, than what I earned being a full-time secretary, working my fingers to the bone.

I am now a full-time stay at home mom. I really enjoy hanging out with my friends and I now spend most of my evenings (after my son is asleep), posting new pics or ranting about my day.

I’ve also started another blog and just recently I opened a Twitter account, which by the way, has already exploded with people following me. I even got celebrities wanting to hang out with me there, like Kim Kardashian. How cool is that?

My friend told me, there is a way I can monetize my Twitter account and make some money with that too. I plan to do that soon.

My latest “venture” is posting reviews at Yelp.com. I just discovered this site and really like it that I can share my opinion about placing and things.

That’s it. That’s what I do in the evenings and on weekends: hanging out with friends online, sharing ideas, opinions, and what not and I am making really good money doing what I really like. Can it get any better?
