How To Use Articles To Improve Your Online Profit – 3 Tips:

Articles are still the most popular of content promotion online. From online newspaper sites to general blogs to highly focused sites, articles are the primary means to communicate with the readers and get the message across.

And when these articles inspire to educate, inform and give insight to a specific topic, the visitors’ response is one of pure acclamations.

This is manifested by substantial increase of targeted traffic, especially, this is evident in the creation of a loyal following of readers who continuously wish to indulge in your written word.

Such continued readership in turn generates higher site rankings, wider recognition and often expert status for the author. Indeed, these benefits make writing and submitting articles still a major contender in the field of online marketing.

Before you indulge yourself in writing an endless array of articles to achieve the benefits described above, there are however, 3 points you should know and adhere to for your articles to get noticed and stand out over the influx of “average to mediocre” articles which rampantly flood the internet.

Point 1: Your article must be educational, informative or insightful.

Too many writers spend their time writing articles that are nothing but pure garbage. They don’t bother connecting with their readers through a captivating title. The show no interest of sharing informative content with their audience. And often the articles are filled with typos and bad grammar all around.

You do not need to be a professional writer. You should however take pride in your work and do you best to entice your readers and share valuable information with them.

If nothing else, at the very least spell check your articles before submitting them and try to stay true to writing grammar as much as possible.

Crappy articles produce crappy results. It really isn’t more complicated than that.

Point 2: Article must be easy to read, spell checked and follow proper grammar.

I already addressed this in point 1 but it bares repeating. Given that every document writer has its own spell checker build in as well as many article directories online providing you with a spell checker before submitting your content, there is no reason your articles should be full of typos, even if English is not your first language.

Yet time and again, there are articles floating around the net so terribly bad, a five year old could and would have done a better job writing it.

There is no excuse for you not to check your work before you expose it to the world. The pride (or lack thereof) that you have for your writing, comes through in your content.

Once again, garbage in means garbage out. It really is that simple.

Point 3: Resource box must have a strong call to action.

By far, the biggest mistakes article writers make is that they do not use their resource box for the intended purpose, which is to get your readers to act!

I often see articles that talk about a specific topic only to find links in the resource box that are entirely not related to the content of the article. Do you really think you’ll get results from that?

Worse yet, is that many times an author will have her resource box filled with several active links. Each link points to a different website or promotes a different product.

Having that many different links in your resource box is not only extremely confusing, it’s overwhelming, distracting and discouraging. And yes, once again, you get exactly what you put in: crap!

Conclusion:

Writing articles does not have to be a science project. You don’t need to analyze what to say or how to say it. There is no need for complicated words or elaborate sentences.

Stick to the point, make your articles informative, educational and insightful, spend the time spell checking your articles and above all have only ONE strong call to action in your resource box and your articles will be responded to in a much more positive manner.

That means more readers, greater visibility and more responsiveness. And let’s be honest, isn’t that exactly why you submit articles in the first place?

3 Tips To Make Your Articles Pay Off Handsomely:

If you are brand spanking new to the internet you may not know that articles are some of the most valuable pieces of content you’ll find on the net.

Every day someone writes an article about some topic and posts it online. People from all walks of life are online daily, looking for information about every possible topic available. And search engines absolutely love it.

The more articles they have in their database about various interests, the more visitors they’ll attract. That means high ratings which translates into big dollars from eager advertisers wanting to promote their stuff in front of that very large audience.

As great as articles are for search engines, they are equally important (if not more) to you as an internet marketer, as well as your online business.

You must create content with the specific intentions to get more quality backlinks pointing to your site/blog, which means higher ranking and more free targeted traffic.

Your articles must also entice your readers to opt-in for your free offer. More subscribers translates into more sales when you have a proper follow up system in place.

Here then are three tips that will turn your articles into pure profit machines:

1. The Title:
This is without a doubt the most important part of your article. The title’s sole purpose is to attract a reader to want to read your article.

As such your article must be intriguing, interesting, evoke curiosity, offer advice or solve a solution.

Example Of A Bad Article Title:
“How To Get Gratis One Way Backlinks Virally And Scream Your Website Or Blog To The Summit Of Search Engine Mountain!”

The above title is bad because it is too long, does not invoke curiosity, isn’t poignant and borders on being boring and blah. Such a title will not demand your readers attention and will certainly not entice the reader to want to read more.

Example Of A Good Article Title:
“Four Quick Tips To Send Your Site To The Top Of Search Engines!”

- or -

“Send Your Site To The Top Of Search Engines, As Quickly As 1,2,3,4!”

These titles (although they could still be improved upon), invoke a reader’s curiosity and demand the readers attention, enough so that the reader wants to know more.

A bad title almost always leaves for an article that gets little or no exposure. That means, little or no traffic and little or no subscribers.

2. Article Body:
One of the biggest mistakes I find in articles is that the title says one thing, yet the article itself ends up being about something totally unrelated.

If your title is about: “3 Fast Tricks To House Train Your Dog!”, then by all means make sure that the body of your article is about house training a dog.

If your title shows: 3 Fast Tricks ….., then, once again, make sure you actually list 3 tips. Give each tip its own heading and describe each tip before moving on to the next tip. Write in short, concise sentences and subdivide your articles in paragraphs for easy reading.

3. Resource Box:
This is the section (usually at the end of your article) that allows you to promote your free offer by means of a link pointing to your opt-in page.

Always, have information in your resource box that directly relates to the article you write. If the article is about house training a dog, then
the free offer you promote in your resource box must be about house training a dog.

All too often I see the potential of a resource box completely go to waste because the author uses it as an opportunity to rant just about anything. That will never get your readers to click on your link and take you up on your free offer.

4. Bonus Tip:
Submit your articles to just a few good article directories. Don’t send your articles to every article depository online. And don’t use an article submission service that promises you your article will be send to 300 or more directories. You have no control what directories they send your articles to, whether or not they pick the right category for your article and so on.

Plus … using article submission services could actually get you to be considered a spammer. And that’s really bad news …

When submitting your articles to a handful of top directories look for these criteria:

. Articles already listed at the directory are of top quality.
. Directory posts more articles related to your topic.
. Article Directory has a quick approval time.

Some depositories take months (literally) before your articles are included in their database. That’s too long a time to wait for you to see results for your efforts. Most good article directories will approve or reject your article within seven to ten days after submission.

Here is my top five list of article directories I use with great success. Each one offers the three points above and enjoys a good ranking to boast.

. Ideamarketers
. <a href="http://www.articlesbase.com/" target=_blank">ArticlesBase
. <a href="http://www.lodester.com/" target=_blank">Lodester
. <a href="http://www.goarticles.com/" target=_blank">GoArticles
. <a href="http://www.articledashboard.com/" target=_blank">ArticleDashBoard

As the internet explodes into a new decade, article marketing will most definitely be an intricate part of it. As an internet marketing that means that writing articles are still a top method for driving traffic, getting more subscribers and increasing your sales.

Use the tips outlined above, and you’re well on your way to becoming an “information specialist” .

Why Articles Are Still The #1 Marketing Method To Increase Your Income:

The internet is coming of age. Once considered a dugout for techies, it’s clear that the internet has become an intricate part of our lives for most of us.

Indeed if the growing numbers of masses who use the internet daily, are any indication in what direction the internet is headed, it can only be forward. To say that the internet is experiencing strong growth would be and understatement. The internet is exploding …

One trend in particular seems to outshine any other time and again. People across the globe use the internet predominantly to find information.

This is due in part that the internet never closes. Regardless of what time of day (or night), week, month or year it is, the internet is open. Additionally, the internet is without a doubt the largest resource center ever created, where one, at the click of a mouse, quite literally, can find information on just about any topic under the sun almost instantly. That makes the internet the ultimate content driven engine.

For retailers, this never-closing environment is an ideal place to vend their products and services. 24/7/365 they are able to make sales and earn profits.

For online marketers, it means that content, written material, is the magic key that unlocks their income potential. As people continue to want information, providing them with that knowledge undoubtedly opens up doors of prosperity.

As an online marketer, it thus makes sense to write your own articles about your chosen topic and submit that content to various content sharing directories, sites and blogs.

It is clear that the growing need for information and your ability to provide that information on a regular and consistent basis is a determining factor of the level of your success.

Therefore, as an internet marketer, you should spend adequate time composing and submitting quality content online to ensure yourself a steady influx of prospects, subscribers and sales.

However, for your articles to be viewed by the masses, you must provide, valuable, insightful, helpful and wanted content that is of superior quality. That is a skill that with some practice and patience, you can master quickly.
